How do I know my information is private and secure?

Privacy and protecting your information are at the heart of Yorze.

With Yorze, you can store all kinds of personal information, from wish lists and bank cards to health documents and personal photos. These are important parts of your life. So only you decide what you share and who you share it with.

All information you add to the App is stored locally, encrypted right here on your iPhone or iPad. Your information never leaves your device unless you decide. You can backup all your Apple device’s data to your own computer or to iCloud.

Your unique Yorze passcode or Touch ID/Face ID protects your information, even if someone has access to your unlocked device.

You can read our Privacy Policy here.

How do I add information to Yorze?

Open Yorze and simply press the [camera icon] button. You can then capture into Yorze’s encrypted storage on your device anything you want to have easily available while not risking losing it or leaving visible among your regular photos. This might include receipts, menus, loyalty cards, shopping lists, permits or your passport.

You should assign each item to a category, such as Frequent, Household or Health to help you find what you need later. If you are really in a rush, leave it Unassigned and you can move it to a category later.

Optionally, you can also assign it to a folder within your chosen category, such as To Do, Wish Lists, Purchases or Identity to keep better organized.

How do I add more items or documents?

Press the [camera icon] button followed by the [Multi-Page icon/text] button, to capture something with more than one image, such as both sides of a bank card or multiple pages of a rental agreement.

If you use the camera against a contrasting background, such a white page placed on a darker surface, Yorze can automatically detect the edges of the card or document and crop and adjust it for you.

By pressing the [crop icon] button you can adjust the cropping and rotation of each page as you prefer before you save it.

How do I use tags?

Tags are short personalised names or brief descriptions that you attach to Yorze entries to help you find and group things however suits you, such as ‘Family’, ‘Holiday home’, ‘Honda Civic (silver)’, ‘Jack’, ‘Work expense’ or ‘Tax deductible’.

Tags are very flexible, so any item can have no tags or one or more. Many items can have the same tag, so you might tag all entries related to a dependent – passport, insurance, travel ticket, medical test, etc – with your family member’s name as the tag.

You can create new tags or choose from tags you have already created by tapping on the ‘Tags’ section when you are adding a new item.

How do I find my files, documents or information?

Once you have added items to Yorze, it is easy to locate what you need:

You can use the main screen to browse your categories and folders. Tap on a folder to view its contents.

Use the scrolling button bar along the bottom of the screen to help select between all your categories or folders more quickly.

Tap the [tags icon] tags button to display your tags. When you select one or more of your personal tags, only those categories and folders containing relevant entries will appear.

Tap the [search icon] search button to display the search box. As you type, only those categories and folders with entries including that text will be displayed.
